Fay Reid

Being from Scotland the subject of most of Fay's work is the Scottisn Highlands and seascapes even though she has lived in Canada for the past 30 years.Fay has been fortunate enough to have sold her work locally and abroad. When she was in Scotland last she had the opportunity to have her work displayed at an Art Gallery .Fay had her art work accepted by the Northern Ontario Art Asociation Tour.
Her art has been on display at the Sudbury Theatre Center and she also had a spot on C.T.V. Fay has been featured in the Magazine Sudbury Living .This was a full page article featuring photographs of 2 of Fay's beautiful paintings. Also she managed to teach a 10 week Watercolor Painting Course at the Adult Learning Centre Sudbury YMCA.

Fay loves to paint Scotland but the sea and boats of all shapes and sizes holds a great fasination for her and now that she lives on Manitoulin Island she is drawn to the rugged beauty of Northern Ontatio that is creeping more and more into her paintings.

Fay is a member of The Walden Club, The Sudbury Art Club, The Manitoulin Fine Arts Club also the Creative Minds Art Assoc.
